Lovely Lisa Dergan

Dave,

For the Lisa Dergan Babe of the Week entry, you were missing the "good" photos. Here they are for sharing.

-Senor Feliz

I'm not sure I should share. I should probably just keep these all to myself! But since you were kind enough to share these with me, I figure it's my duty to share with everyone else. So...here we go.

Favorite videogame song

Hey man. What is your favorite song from a videogame? Mine has got to be either the theme from Fisherman's Horizon in FF8 or the theme from Arni Village (Home World) from Chrono Cross. Later chief.

Luke

Wow. Now that's a really good question. My memory is so shite these days that I'm having trouble thinking of any. Off the top of my head, I'd have to say that there's this one track in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that simply blew me away the first time I heard it. All of the music in that game kicked ass, but there was this one that truly stood out to me when I played it.

Since my brain ain't working well right now, I'm thinking it might be easier for me to just name some of my favorite game soundtracks instead of particular songs. As far as overall game soundtracks are concerned, I loved Chrono Cross (I sort of dissed it a little in my review on IGNPSX for not having anything super memorable to me, but it's so damn good on the whole and has grown on me more since first playing it). Symphony of the NIght's soundtrack was amazing. The Lunar: The Silver Star music will always hold a special place in my heart. More recently, Rygar had excellent music. I've liked all the Metal Gear Solid soundtracks and same goes for the majority of the Final Fantasy games.

Anyone out there have any particular tracks or games that they'd like to mention with regard to this topic, please send them in...

Hooking up with a booth babe

Be honest............ever try to get with one of the booth babes?

Also, have you ever met a booth babe that actually knew who you are? Ever met one who was a fan of the site?

I have never tried hitting on a booth babe, but I have hit on many girls that have been WAY out of my league just because I figured it'd be fun. Well, that and the fact that I was typically extremely tanked when I would do something like that. It's worth noting that I've only done this in Los Angeles for some reason. I guess being drunk and away from my home area makes it easier to be a 'tard.

Sad Christmas!

Either WED (21) or THURSDAY (22) night. Metallica's playing clubber-only shows, and you need tix, but if you go down the line and ask around you may be able to find someone that has one available. Each clubber can take one person, and you could get lucky. I met people that were able to see the first two shows that way (I myself went to the second). It was the best concert I've ever been to in my life. METALLICA sounded better then they ever have and ushered in a new era of heaviness. Check out more ramblings here http://boards.ign.com/message.asp?topic=39220299&replies=9 !. I'm even on the official MET ON TOUR site. Listen Dave, skip work, I don't care. Get your ass to the Fillmore.

metsallica

Looks like I missed it. Maybe I should start reading my email before I actually get time to do the "Dear Dave" updates. Maybe next time...if there ever is one.

BFL

Oh Davey,

Just wanted to say continue on the good work for BFL. I started my weight loss plan a few months back and haven't really lost any weight.

I just continue to work out 4 or 5 times a week. My confidence has rose a lot so that's great. I've even got myself a nice beautiful girlfriend who likes me for who I am. Just wanted to tell you that there are those who still exist. Girls that like you for you that is.

Just look at those Booth Babes salivating over you man. In time brother, in time.

Later,

Paul

Thanks and I wish you the best of luck with your plans and your life in general. Sounds like things are going great even if you haven't really lost any weight yet. I personally think that a lot of the other things are much more important in many ways.

Girls, girls, girls...

Much appreciation for the fine pics of babes you have collected....and for the show of generosity for giving away that PS2 loot (unfortunately I'm an xbox guy so I have no need for that stuff)....

love the site so far and I'd contribute to the forums but I'm in too many as it is now....I'll see what I can do for the future....in the meantime, you can still some pics off my personal forums for my close friends and I: www.engsoc.org/~hlien/YaBB.cgi

I appreciate the link. I'll be sure to use it whenever I need some spanking inspiration.

The weight loss

Dood..good *ucking job w/the weight loss. Im looking and comparing the E3 pics..u r the man! Just wanted to say good job and I hope much success in your future.

Thanks, man. I really appreciate it. For me personally, the best thing about E3 was really getting the chance to see all the people that I hadn't seen in a while and then seeing their reactions to me and my weight loss. I kept hearing compliments like, "I'm sure you're getting tired of hearing this, but you look great!". Honestly, it never got tiring and all the compliments from the people I saw there and those of you that have emailed me since the beginning has helped more than you could imagine. It's what helps keep me going on those days that I just want to eat shit that I shouldn't and those mornings that I would rather just not workout. For that, I owe a lot to all of you out there.

Kojima & Naka

Dude, I just now finally checked out that non-booth babe story and have to say that the picture with you and Naka and Kojima rules! Not only are you standing next to two of hte greatest game makers in the world, but you they're all drunk and you're all cheesing with this big shit-eating grin! I wish I was there!

That was a pretty cool night and getting the very drunk Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear, Snatcher, Policenauts, ZOE, etc) and Yuji Naka (Sonic, NiGHTS, Billy Hatcher, etc) to pose for a picture with me was one of the highlights. To top it off, neither one of them understood much of what I said to them because they don't really speak good English and their translators weren't with them.

The evils of losing weight

You haven't talked much about the negative side effects that you've expericned since losing weight? What's up with that thryoid crap and everything else?

My thyroid seems to be functioning a little better right now, but I'm still having to deal with the constant cold hands and feet, the constipation, and the loose skin. My doctor says that cold thing will probably stick around until I stay at a particular weight for an extended period of time and that since I'm constantly losing weight that my body is constantly having to get used to something new. He's not so sure about the constipation but thinks that I just need more bulky foods in my diet. And with the loose skin, he's been suggesting that I get plastic surgery whenever I get down to my goal weight. We'll see, I guess.

All the positives significantly outweigh any of these negatives. So, I'm cool with it all. Last year this time, the negatives I was dealing with included -- numb legs (I later found out that I was VERY close to the point where the only fix would be to have my legs cut off completely from the knee down), serious chest pains, breathing problems even when sitting still, blurry vision, high blood sugar levels, impotence, and countless other issues.

If you have a question, about games or life in general, just send it to "Dear Dave".
