Happy New Year! --
Well, the year 2003 is practically over and it's time to
look forward to a very promising 2004. While I had originally planned
to do nothing this New Year's Eve, I've had a bit of a change of heart
and have decided to party away the end of this year and the beginning
of next at Ruby Skye here in
San Francisco. There's a $100 cover charge, but I figure it'll be
worth it as long as it doesn't turn out to be a sausage fest. If all
goes well, I'll get hella plastered and won't remember a damn thing
either way.
As for my New Year's resolutions, I think I'll go ahead and go with
the same basic shit I had for 2003 -- 1) Keep losing weight (lost
a total of 46 lbs in 2003 despite a poor June through November); 2)
Help make the newest version of ESPN NFL Football better
than last year's game; 3) Make mad passionate love with at least one
blonde, one brunette, one red head, and one set of twins (MK&A
do turn 18 this year...); 4) Make at least one new person
laugh at one of my stupid jokes. Wish me luck!
And, well, Happy New Year to each and every one of you. I've had
a blast updating this site over the course of this year and still
can't believe that people like reading what I have to say (I don't
have a problem understanding why people come to check out the babe
pictures, though. That's pretty obvious.). So, once again, Happy New
Year! Get drunk, get laid, and just have fun with whatever you plan
on doing.

A reason to
watch ET on MTV --
This week's Babe of the Week is
one of the hottest television correspondents around -- Entertainment
Tonight's Maria Menounos. She's a
big reason why I'll watch ET on MTV whenever it's on and is a good
reason for you to check it out if you haven't already.
S.W.A.T. --
I picked up a copy of S.W.A.T. today that I had
pre-paid for a little while back. It's now the 268th
DVD in my ever-growing collection of crap. I'm not really sure
why I bought this one -- especially considering I've really heard
nothing about it -- but Colin Farrell is in it and there's a possibility
that I have a secret gay crush on him since I already own a bunch
of his other movies (same goes for Brad Pitt). However, I'll just
say it was for Michelle Rodriguez because she's super spankable in
her own right.
The NES collection
grows --
My classic collection has grown a little over the past
couple of weeks thanks to some bargain bin purchases on eBay. Thanks
to purchases of Dragon Warrior II, III & IV, Metal
Gear, and Super Dodge Ball, my NES
collection now features 32 titles. I'm looking to win all three
Ninja Gaiden games sometime early next week.

Notch heaven --
I went to my first-ever Golden State Warriors basketball
game and I learned a few things. First, NBA basketball is pretty weak
-- at least when the two teams playing are the Warriors and Celtics.
All the players looked slow and awkward, they stood around in one
spot most of the game and I could shoot better at the foul line than
every single one of them. Hell, there was this little white kid that
was shooting around before the game started that was hitting about
75% from the 3-point line -- the NBA players, conversely, were only
making about half their jumpers and lay-ups when they began warming
up. Pitiful.
The night wasn't all that bad, however. The big thing that I learned
tonight was that there are a TON of hot bitches at these NBA basketball
games. It was crazy wall-to-wall hotties. My Spank Bank™
is overflowing with material and I'll surely spank it to at least
three of them before the night is over -- first will be the hot brunette
that was wearing this white turtleneck sweater, second will be the
cute young blonde with the tight pink top, and third will be the Warrior
girl with the big ole titties, curvaceous hips and tight little tummy.
Anyway, I think I need to go to more Warriors basketball games.

My final batch of eBay goods --
Well, not my "final" batch. It's just the last batch of
stuff for this current year. I'm sure I'll get rid of more crap in
2004. Some of the junk in this latest round-up is non-gaming stuff
like my diabetes blood glucose monitor (no longer need it now that
I'm eating healthy and have lost so much weight), a slightly damaged
DSL modem, a remote control for a car CD player (for the CD player
that was stolen out of my car a while back), and a XL Randy Moss jersey.
Then there's also some gaming-related goodies including two PSX/Saturn
compatible light guns, a Lara Croft promotinal watch, and one of my
extra, and unopened, copies of that special Metal Gear Solid 2 "The
Trailer" DVD that was released in Japan ages ago. If interested, feel
free to check out all of
my current eBay auctions.
And if you don't come to my site to find out what kind of crap you
can buy off me, here's a zip file
of those Starbucks chicks from Playboy that I've been promising for
the past few weeks in "Dear Dave".
Even more DVDs for the hell of it --
Boredom means more DVDs
for Dave Z. I picked up seven new discs today incluing I'm With
Lucy, Identity, Requiem For A Dream, Irreversible, All I Want, Outside
Providence, and Jessica Simpson "With You".
I also went ahead and pre-paid for S.W.A.T. and Underworld.
I'm a DVD
addict!

Christmas is boring... --
Next year, I'm going to have to ask VC if I can just go
in to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and instead get two
other random days off for the holidays because this shit is boring.
Nothing good is on TV and nothing worthwhile is open. I can't even
go to the mall to find high school chicks to masturbate to when I
get home.
Hell, I'm so damn bored that I'm unable to muster up enough energy
to jerk off, which is normally my solution to extreme boredom. Well,
that's a bit of a lie because I have squeezed a few out today. They've
just been very uninspired spooge fests, so I don't really count them.
Sadly, it really looks like New Years is going to be more of the
same. Pretty much everyone I know is out of town and I'm not at all
that good when it comes to doing things solo (insert typical masturbation
joke here...). I thought I would have a cool Bowl game to look forward
to, at least, but, as I've said numerous times in the past, the Miami
/ FSU match-up isn't exciting to me. Anyway, I'm bored out of my mind!
I hope you're fairing much better.
Merry Christmas! --
I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. Hopefully, you'll all get some good shit under the Christmas tree.
I, myself, am hoping for some hot nekkid women waiting for me when I wake up Christmas morning. I've been a good kid this year
and I really do deserve some hardcore sex for a change. Best wishes!

Get your funny on --
Smoke some bud, drink some beer and then read my update
to "Dear Dave". Why? Everything's
funnier when you're either stoned or drunk. Well, at least that's
what I'm hoping for. Today's topics include Vanessa Kay's Playboy
pictures, Britney Spears' nipples, a battle between Pennelope Jimenez
and Carmella Decesare, the mysterious "408", Sweetnam's
dick sucking lips, The Return of the King and other random tidbits.
Okay, it's about the same basic shit that it's always about -- chicks
and geek shit.
Lotsa new DVDs --
Went a little crazy on DVD Tuesday today because I had
a nice little coupon. I picked up five
new DVDs including Sixteen Candles, The Dark Crystal,
The Medallion, Anything Else, and A Christmas
Story (best holiday movie ever). I have the next two days off
from work (might still go in for a little tomorrow), so I should have
some time to watch a couple of these.

| Why
choose? Just have them both! |
Anna or Summer?
--
If you know what I'm talking about then you're probably
a loser that watches The O.C.! Ha! You suck! Sure, you might
be saying, "Well, dumbass Dave, you obviously watch it, so you're
a loser, too!". And that might seem like a good response and
all, but it's not. I have a good excuse. I'm doing it for research...or
something. What's yours? I bet you don't have one.
The point of all this is that my new
Babe of the Week is an actress named
Samaire Armstrong who plays the character
Anna Stern on The O.C. For those
not in the know, she's the cutie with the personality in the love
triangle with Seth and Summer (former BotW Rachel Bilson) and Anna.
Now that you know, don't you feel a lot better?
No electricity --
I had a pretty boring ass weekend thanks to PG&E sucking
mucho booty. My power was completely out from Saturday at around 6:45
PM until Sunday at approximately 2:30 PM (an estimated 1/3rd of the
city was hit by the power outage). That meant I couldn't really do
anything Saturday night except for hang around with my brother, David
Toole and David Smith in candlelight while we all tried to have fun
by testing our blood sugar on my glucose montior (okay, Smith was
a party pooper and wouldn't partake in our finger-pricking festivities).
Then on Sunday, I missed all of the afternoon football games and the
only fun I had was heading to the Serremonte Mall to check out high
school girls. Okay, now that I think of it, the weekend wasn't a complete
loss.
A couple of
Sega Saturn classics --
I just got in a couple of classic Sega
Saturn games that I had won in a recent eBay auction -- Panzer
Dragoon Saga and Shining Force III -- for a tiny bit
more than $150. It was a Christmas present for myself that I was able
to buy thanks to the $1,500 I've made in recent eBay transactions
over the course of the past three to four weeks. I think Burning
Rangers is next and last on my list of soon-to-buy Saturn
titles.

Rather large "Dear Dave" --
I guess a lot of people decided to write-in because I was
bitching about not getting enough emails last week (coincidentally,
my junk mail also increased...). This phenomenon has made for a rather
large update to "Dear Dave". Can't say
much more about it other than the fact that there are a lot of letters.
It's definitely got the quantity thing going. I can't vouche for the
quality. Nekky pictures inside!
Not too motivated because work is pissing me the fuck off. I'm another
bad day away from just dropping everything and moving to Mexico or
Thailand. I think between what I have in the bank and what I could
get from selling all my games and electronic equipment that I could
probably live well in either place for a couple of years without a
job.
Christina turns 23... --
Damn. With Christina Aguilera turning 23 today I'm not
sure if I'm even allowed to like her anymore. She's getting old! Anyway,
happy birthday Christina! I'm sorry I didn't make it to your party.
I was just too busy fucking Beyonce all day. Maybe next year.

Damn fine movie --
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
is truly a great movie and the Rings trilogy is probably
the best that I've personally ever seen. It surpasses even the first
Star Wars trilogy in my eyes and whoops the living dog shit out
of The Matrix trilogy. My only real gripes with Return of
the King is that the endings are kind of boring (had the same problem
with the book, though) and that they made Sloth (from Goonies)
one of the bad guys. There were just so many hair-raising moments
during the movie and they were constantly one-upping the "wows"
throughout most of the flick. I can't wait for the DVD...

| She
don't need Billy Shakespeare! |
A cute Canadian
rocker chick --
"Wake up tired / Monday mornings suck / It's way too
early to catch a bus / Why conform without a fuss? / Daddy, daddy
no! / I don't wanna go to school! / I don't need to read Billy
Shakespeare / Meet Juliet or my Volio / Feel for once what it's like
to rebell now / I wanna break out lets go".
That's all it takes to hook me. Throw together some super cheesy
lyrics aimed at a five year old and some snappy beats and you'll have
me at "hello". I can't explain it, but I think I have some
kind of horrible shitty pop disease. Luckily for those around me,
it doesn't seem to be contagious.
The point of all this is that my current Babe
of the Week is the cute -- and very young -- Skye
Sweetnam who sings the song Billy S. that I've recently
become a big fan of after hearing it on that Mandy Moore DVD I bought
last week (How To Deal). She's still a bit too young looking
for my tastes, but I figure that many of you will be able to appreciate
her. Now shut up and let me get back to my song...
"Teachers treat us all like clones / "Sit up straight,
take off your headphones" / I dont blame them / They get paid
/ Money, money whoo! / Lotsa money, money whoo! / I don't need to
read Billy Shakespeare / Meet Juliet or Malvolio / Feel for once what
it's like to rebell now / I wanna break out lets go"...
Best sports
movie ever? --
I still haven't seen it yet, but I've heard enough good
things about that movie where Spider-Man is a horse jockey to force
me to have to pick it up and put it in my DVD
collection. Luckily, I already pre-paid for it so I didn't have
to spend a single cent today, as was also the case with last DVD Tuesday.
For those counting, it's my 256th
DVD.

Games and Guides on eBay --
I've put about a dozen videogames and strategy guides up
for auction on eBay, including SSX3
(Xbox), Live
2003 (PS2), NASCAR
Thunder 2002 (PS2), NHL
Hitz 20-02 (PS2), and guides for Gran
Turismo 3 A-spec, Secret
of Mana, Final
Fantasy III, Zelda:
Ocarina of Time, Pokemon
Stadium, Vagrant
Story, Pokemon,
Street
Fighter II, and Phantasy
Star IV.
Go ahead and check out all my
current eBay auctions and bid on whatever you would like. Just
remember that all these auctions end tonight at around 7-8 PM pacific
time, so you don't have all that much time to get in your bids. Peace
out.

"Dear Dave"
--
Here's that "Dear Dave"
update that I promised. Read it and send me some damn emails, damn
it!
A very slow week --
Not much has been going on in my life, so the updates have
been extra slim. I'll have a "Dear Dave"
upate for y'all later but it's not going to be all that significant
because the emails have been few and far between (all you damn jerk
and runners). Anything else? Umm, can't think of anything. I'll just
share with you that I hate working out early in the morning when it's
freezing in the weight room. I don't get fully warmed up until the
workout is basically over and done with.

Free DVDs! --
I picked up a couple of new DVDs
today and I didn't even have to pay a single cent! In fact, I was
given a a penny back after buying them. Sure, I already pre-paid for
Bad Boys II last week and used a $20 off coupon for Mandy Moore's
How To Deal, but that's not the point. The point is that
I didn't have to spend any money today.
My only bitch with the whole thing is that I had to deal with a jack
ass employee at Suncoast. He was sure I was trying to rip them off
for $5 even though I'm spending $5K a year at their damn store and
am there at least twice every damn week. At least he wasn't flat out
rude to me like he was to my boy Abe who probably drops closer to
$10K per year at that place.

| She's blowing that kiss at YOU! |
The O.C.'s cute
little bitch --
I would call watching The O.C. a guilty pleasure,
but I just don't feel guilty about watching stuff like that. If you've
ever looked at my DVD
collection, you already know what I mean. I'm all about watching
hot chicks act (and listening to hot chicks sing). That's just Dave
Z, plain and simple (don't worry, I don't plan on talking about myself
in the third person a lot -- Dave Z don't do that...).
Anyway, one of the big reasons I watch
the show is for the character named Summer who is played by the lovely
Rachel Bilson. She's just off the hook in
terms of hotness and ranks extremely high on my jerk meter. Simply
put, she's a perfect choice for this week's Babe
of the Week.
The boo-ring bowl --
The big news in college football seems to be the mess that
is the BCS. A lot of stink has been made about USC being left out
of the title game. I get it, but then I don't. If USC made it, then
either LSU or OU fans would have plenty of crap to bitch about, as
well. It was a no-win situation, really. I like the way it turned
out. It's just a lot more fun this way. I enjoy all the bitching,
bickering and finger pointing -- 16 team playoff anyone?
What I don't like is the fact that it's FSU vs. Miami
in the Orange Bowl. I love the 'Canes more than any of my other sports
teams, but I might just skip that rehashed crap. I was praying for
an Ohio State match-up, but the football Gods just didn't want to
make that happen. Damn them! I guess the good news is that I didn't
buy Orange Bowl tickets last week when I was looking for them on eBay.
I would've been seriously pissed off had I bought them thinking Ohio
State and getting FSU. I guess I can look at the positive -- I'm saving
about $500 this way.
GT4 "Prologue" --
I'm in rather good spirits today because my copy of Gran
Turismo 4 "Prologue" (plus my GT4 "Prologue"
memory card) arrived in the mail today from NCS. All is good
in the world when I get me a new fix of the goodness that is known
as Gran Turismo. Sad thing is that I can't really play it
until I get home. Regardless, it's now my 84th game for Sony's PlayStation
2.
Oh, by the way, my Xbox
list has also been updated to its current state of 19 games with the
recent additions of BG&E, Need for Speed Underground
and Prince of Persia (the former and latter being the two
games I conquered this past weekend).
|

Productive gaming weekend --
It's about 4:30AM on Sunday morning and I just beat Beyond
Good & Evil for Xbox.
And since I completed Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
last night, that makes it two conquered games this weekend for yours
truly. My brain is a bit mushy right now, or else I'd share some thoughts
about each with you.
Just know that both games are worth playing through, whether they're
in your game library or are being rented. I'm not even sure which
one I liked better at the moment. They both had their own strong points.
Maybe I'll have some sort of a clue by the time I give out my year-end
videogame awards in early January.

Happy Friday!
--
I'm happy this week is finally over. It's been a long one.
I've felt tired and a bit ill all week, but never quite to the point
where I would consider myself sick. Kind of weird, but I don't really
know how to explain it. Most of today I had the feeling that I was high
but without the euphoria or the munchies. Maybe it's just a sign of
my impending death. Maybe not. I'll probably just do what I did last
Friday when I thought I was going to be sick -- down a bunch of vitamin
C. It made for a sick-free weekend, even though I was sick during the
following work week.
Anyway, I don't really have anything to update with. No new emails,
no new funny stories, no new pictures. Absolutely nothing of importance
to speak of. All that I can share is that I picked up a few new DVDs
since it was a triple points day at Suncoast -- Alien Quadrilogy,
Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series, and Pirates
of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. I also pre-paid
for a few other discs in full, but I'll reveal the identity of those
when I pick them up.

| Bastards
should never have voted her off! |
The cutie from
Big Brother 4 --
My new Babe of the Week is the
cute little 19 year old blonde that was kicked off of the reality
TV show Big Brother 4 very early on. Her name is Michelle
Maradie and she would be one of my top choices to see in any
follow-up pictorials in Playboy for the "girls of reality TV".
Better yet, I'd be all for paying her to do an exclusive spread for
my site. It could be a start to some modelling career or something.
Hell, if she wants, I'd even be willing to pay her a little extra
money to do a porn video with myself.
No weight update
--
I'll hold off on my next body weight update until three
weeks from now. I put on some lbs over the Thanksgiving four-day weekend
and to help me get back on track I want to completely avoid weighing
myself so much that I get focused on the numbers instead of just following
the BFL plan.
Cute little
"Dear Dave" --
It has enough emails, but most of the replies in today's
"Dear Dave" are pretty much one sentence and done. Read
it if you must read about babe suggestions, see some pics of Vida
Guerra's booty, and a couple of other little things. Okay, Vida's
booty ain't all that little.
Happy Birthyday
Britney! --
She forgot to invite me to her party, but I figured I'd
still give her my best wishes on her birthday today. Miss Spears is
now 22 years old, which means she's still has three years to go before
I'd feel okay about marrying her. Girl still has some growing up to
do. She still can't handle the fact that I'm too much man for just
one woman and must spread the wealth around to as many different hotties
as possible.
