Damn fine CD --
Took my lunch break today at Best Buy and ended up picking up a music CD (Metallica's S&M) and a new DVD (Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky). Haven't watched the movie yet but I'm sure it's a worthy purchase based on how much I've loved all the Miyazaki film's that I've watched so far - Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Spirited Away. As for the Metallica CD, I just finished listening to disc 1 and must say that it was well worth the measly $10 I plopped down for it. This is one damn fine music CD. For those not in the know, the S&M CD is the one that Metallica did with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Anyway, if you're a Metallica fan and you haven't picked this one up yet, I'd recommend getting this. It gets two thumbs and a pecker up from me.

Go read this crap now --
Since I don't have time to write anything funny these days, I figured I'd share links to funny shit that other people have written. Here's something that Sam K. shared with me this afternoon that had me literally laughing my ass off (yes, my ass came all the way off. I'm serious). Check it out and I'm sure you'll get a chuckle or two. Hopefully you won't lose your ass in the process like I did, though.

Getting very little done --
Not getting much done at work today because of database problems, so I've gone ahead and updated "Dear Dave" because this site needed something new pretty badly. I think I'm all caught up with all my emails, so if your letter hasn't been responded to yet, it probably means that I've lost it somehow. Check this update and past ones just to be sure before you re-send anything.

Strange week, but it ended well --
This was a pretty odd week on the body weight front. I ate a massive amount of food on my free day last Sunday. So much, in fact, that I was tipping the scales at 264.5 lbs as late as Tuesday. I was ready for my first week of gaining weight since starting this diet. But guess what? It all fell off and more. My weight this morning is a whole 5 lbs lower than last Sunday, putting me at a 245.5 lbs (a drop of 19 lbs since Tuesday). I don't know how this shit works, but I'l take it.

Much ado about nothing --
Finally got around to updating "Dear Dave". The letters are much better overall than they were with the last update, but my responses are all pretty stale. I think I'm losing it! Either that or I'm just pretty overloaded with work these days. I can't wait until we finish up this game. Things are starting to look VERY good, though. I'm confident that this year's game will beat the shit out of what we released last year.

A couple of new anime DVDs--
I broke down and picked up a couple of anime DVDs -- Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service -- yesterday because I had a $10 off coupon and really wanted to have both in my DVD collection. I'm still well on pace to being able to pay off all my overdue bills on June 15th. It'll be nice when that's finally out of the way. Next up will be to save up for some Russian mail order bride.

Finally beat Zelda --
Only getting to play the game maybe two to three hours per week made what was only a modestly long quest take almost a full month to beat. Kind of like it that way, though. It beats the shit out of having to rush through a game just so you can pass it quick enough to have it reviewed in time for its release date. I got to enjoy Wind Waker at my own pace.

As for what I thought of the game, it's most definitely a must play title regardless of what you think about its artistic style. The puzzle and level design featured throughout Wind Waker has no equal. I do have some serious issues with some of its control -- first-person sensitivity and weird shit that would cause me to bump into doors instead of opening them -- and its camera system, which can be best described as "booty". However, two things plus the looooong sailing times were my only real gripes about what was otherwise a masterpiece in game design. It's easily one of the early favorites for my 2003 game of the year.

Half a pound is better than none --
My weight only dropped a half a pound in the past week -- I managed to tip the scales at 250.5 lbs this morning. No need to start looting your local museums, though, because I saw it coming and even expected it. I started taking creatine supplementation on Monday to help me build more muscle (need it to help with the loose skin I'm developing), so I'm willing to bet that it had to do with the difficulty dropping in overall pounds.

I either added more muscle than normal this week or the creatine just made me retain more water than normal, so that's why my progress wasn't as noticable on the scale. I had a fantastic week of weight training, my cardio workouts were the best I had EVER had since I started back in September and I followed the diet perfectly. That stuff is really more important to me, plus the progress in how I look and feel.

More shit for sale--
I did another go around with the apartment and found about a dozen more CDs, DVDs and videogames that I'm willing to part with including Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Armageddon, and Terminator 2: Judgement Day on DVD (I have multiple copies of each) and Mario Party 4 for GameCube. You'll find those and lots of other low cost items up for auction on eBay (you can click here to view all my current auctions).

I think she sings or something.

A cute youngin' --
I recently got a look at the latest video from some girl named Stacie Orrico and figured she was cute enough to make this week's belated Babe of the Week. At 17 and looking every bit that age, she's a bit too young for my maturing, 30 year old, tastes. However, since most of you guys seem to still be in the 13-29 category, her youth might be a big plus. Regardless, you should give her a look. She's definitely a cutie.

It's still up --
My auction for my grape Game Boy Advance is still up for sale on eBay. I think the auction ends sometime Sunday evening. It comes with a carrying case and a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. It's in good condition and I'm including a couple of new batteries with it. The only reason I'm parting with it is that I've ordered a Platinum GBA SP that should be in my hands by Tuesday of next week. Then I'll finally be able to play some Circle of the Moon without worrying about getting hit by something that I couldn't even see.

Playoff hockey uber alles --
The Stanley Cup Playoffs are pretty damn exciting, I must admit. It really helps when my team is still alive -- the Philadelphia Flyers -- but I can honestly watch any hockey playoff game and be excited. I wish it was the same for baseball and basketball for me, but it's not. I tend to only get into those playoffs when my teams are expected to do well in them. And the Orioles haven't even made a run in such a long time that I don't even watch much of the regular season in baseball anymore. The Celtics have done okay in recent years, but not really enough to get my hopes up enough to want to watch. I miss Larry Bird and Cal Ripken.

Praise, compliments, etc. --
I don't control the email that I get, so don't bitch to me if you don't like the content of the "Dear Dave" updates these days. Or, better yet, bitch and bring up new topics. I, personally, don't really care either way and never get tired of reading kind words written about me. It makes my head grow even bigger and my ultimate weight loss goal is to become some anime-looking freak with a little body and a huge, over-sized head.

My purple GBA --
I decided to order a platinum Game Boy Advance SP this afteroon, so I've gone ahead and put my old purple Game Boy Advance up for sale on eBay with a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and a carrying case. There are also a couple of music CDs that I'm selling, but nothing that any of you would probably be interested in, so I won't bother linking to them. Oh, and for those interested, I jerked to that new J.Lo Flashdance video this evening. Very good stuff.

Time is running out! --
It's the final day for you to bid on the latest batch of PS2 games that I've put up on eBay. I'm guessing they'll go for about $10 each, so that's a good bargain even for old and used titls. In case you missed out on the initial updated, the games include Madden & NCAA 2002, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero, Grand Theft Auto III, and State of Emergency. Bid or don't bid, I don't really care. Just trying to clean out my closet.

Since I suck, you can go here --
Yeah, I know the site has been sucking of late. But there's not really that much I can do about it given my current 14+ hour per day, seven days per week work load that will steadily increase from now until we finish up the game. Not complaining because 14 hours at VC beats the shit out of 8 at Taco Bell, that's for damn sure. Though, I did get to see a more constant supply of hot chicks when working at the Bell...

My point -- I don't and won't have anything really original or cool to update with for the foreseeable future. There'll be new babes every once in a while, new "Dear Dave" updates, and the usual "look at me" weight loss and budget-related write-ups. But, for at least a day, I figure I can help you find your daily humor quota by suggesting that you check out one of the funniest new sites on the 'net -- http://www.welovetheiraqiinformationminister.com. It's a laugh riot or something to that effect.

Legal fat man porn --
If I were to post some hot semi-nude pictures of a very mature and unbelievably gorgeous 17 year-old woman I'd probably be thrown in jail and forced to toss the salad of some guy named Bubba while getting pounded from behind by some ex-porn star with a 12 1/2" cock. Yet, I'm able to post semi-nude pictures of myself -- a naked and not-so visually appealing fat man -- with no fear of any such negative consequences. It's a funny world that we live in.

For those just dying to see what I'm looking like these days, I've put up a brand new "After" picture for you to jerk off to (please don't...). It marks the end of my first official 12-week Challenge that I'm submitting for the BFL contest and caps off a nice run that has seen me lose a grand total of 135.5 lbs, as I'm now tipping the scales at a paltry 251.0 lbs.

Oh, yeah, and for those of you that would like to get a look at my progress but are either afraid you'll get turned on by seeing me without my shirt on or are just worried about someone walking in on you while you've got some naked fat man on your computer monitor, you can just click on the picture on the right to get a look at me wearing some size 58 jeans that fit me comfortably when I started on all this.

A pretty weak "Dear Dave" --
Haven't been getting much in the way of email for "Dear Dave" and I haven't been inspired to write anything funny. All this adds up to a pretty weak update. Figure if I don't have to work too long on Sunday that I might put together something less half-ass.

A little history of me --
I'm bored. It's early AM Saturday morning and I'm still at work. Figured I'd take a little break and post something that's either completely worthless or kind of cool. It's some historical data about myself that I found in some old notebooks that were buried in my closet. It contains the scores of my varsity football games back in high school and my body weight, 40 times, and bench press maxes at various points in my post-high school life.

Busy, busy, busy... --
Don't have much time to do things for the site these days, so I suggest that you go and download the final trailer for The Matrix Reloaded. You can jerk to it and pretend that it's a new Babe of the Week. That's what I did. It sure looks like it's going to kick some mucho ass.

PS2 games for sale --
Even though I don't get time to update this site with worthwhile content much these days, I still think you should buy my games that I've put up on eBay. Alright, well, maybe you shouldn't. That is, unless they happen to be games that you're interested in picking up for well under their normal retail value. FYI, the games I've put up are Madden & NCAA 2002, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero, Grand Theft Auto III, and State of Emergency. In case you're wondering, the games belonged to my brother and he gave them to me to sell.

A little White Trash Britney love --
Figured you guys could use some non-Babe of the Week babe coverage amidst this non-stop barrage of updates about nothing but my weight loss, getting out of debt and selling crap on eBay missions. So, here are some new pictures of Miss Britney Jean Spears laying out in a bikini trying to get a tan and smoke a cig.

Oh, yeah, and this crap... --
I tipped the scales this morning at 255.5 lbs, which is an overall loss of 131.0 lbs. At this rate, I should be in the sub-250 territoriy in about two weeks if all goes as planned. Now if only I could find a way to make my head shrink a little and my penis to grow a bit thicker and longer...

This wrestling babe gets hella naked! What exactly is "hella" naked? Not sure, but I like it!

Torrie Torrie Torrie! --
Chicks dig the long ball and guys dig chicks that take off all their clothes for the purpose of entertaining men. That's why you gotta love that Torrie Wilson posed nude for Playboy. She's hot and a hot girl should be seen naked.

That's life's golden rule. In fact, if you were able to ask some all-knowing being (okay, that's me!) what the meaning of life was -- it'd tell you that life's meaning is to look at hot nude women. So, look at one -- like the new Babe of the Week! I'm scanning these at 1:45 AM because I'm having trouble sleeping, so you really owe it to me to have a look.

Klonoa 2 roxors! --
I finished Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil for the first time this morning before work and I must say that I am pretty pleased with the game. It has some really great puzzle designs and the latter levels actually do a wonderful job of testing your old-school platform gaming reflexes. Outside of the GBA, you just don't see these kinds of games in this day and age -- and you won't get graphics this pretty on Nintendo's little handheld.

The only knock would be that it's kind of on the short side, but I was able to get a full week out of it because of my busy schedule that only allowed me maybe an hour a day on it. Well worth the $10 I paid for it and more. Not to mention it's the type of game that I could see myself playing through more than once all the way through. Get it if you can find it cheap.

My eBay and Craig's List items --
I'm doing this right here more to fill up space than anything -- if I don't, the Babe of the Week pictures to the right fucks up the format of the page. So, umm, I still have seven items left for auction on everyone's favorite auction site, eBay. Just click to view my current auctions if you're interested.

My Pioneer HTD-510 Home Theater System is still available on Craig's List, as well. But this is only available to those that are local to me because I won't ship all this shit because it's way too damn heavy. I've recently dropped the price down from $300 to $250, so it's a steal and whatnot.

Nearly 40,000 strong --
It's not close to the 2 million that would frequent my old site every month, but 39,473 is a fair amount of unique individuals to have visit my personal website in any given month. That's apparently the number of different people that viewed my site in the month of March. I wish I could say that all came to read all about me, but, let's face it, the babes are responsible for a lot of this traffic. And while we're on the subject of babes...I promise you a new one either later tonight or by the end of the day tomorrow. I'm just stuck on who I should give it to. Peace out.

I actually planned a pretty elaborate April Fool's joke for yesterday, but didn't get around to posting it because I got home from work so late and was too tired to do anything (didn't even play any Zelda!). I guess you'll have to wait until next year if you're still visiting.
