Despite my hate for the Florida Gators, which is only surpassed by my hate for Notre Dame and Ohio State, Tim Tebow completely deserves the Heisman trophy he just picked up today. Tebow completed 217 of 317 passes for 3,132 yards and 29 touchdowns while rushing for 838 yards and an amazing 22 scores. Amazing!

He’s the clear winner from where I’m standing and there’s not really much room for debate. McFadden’s an amazing talent and might be on his way to dominating the NFL, but his season wasn’t as good as Tebow’s. Hell, his total yards, his yards per carry and rushing TDs are ALL less than what Willis McGahee put up in his final year with the Hurricanes that only got him a 4th place finish in the Heisman voting. Brennan has led his team to an unbeaten season so far and has put up some nice numbers, but his stat totals pale in comparison to what he did last year.

I hate to admit it because he’s a Gator, but there’s no second-guessing this Heisman vote, they got it right with Tim Tebow.
